I always stop by at your blog... I envy you... writing almost every day) <br /> <br />My holiday is getting longer than I expected to and this leaves me anxious. But, nothing bad really. Each "extra" day that I have passed here has been very unexpected and brought me new things, new friendships who, slowly slowly, cheer to me and encourage to me to follow with my instincts. <br /> <br />Since I've arrived, I've adopted a more instrospective behaviour. (yes... today's post is zen). <br />Not that I am not going out and being the usual party animal, or being cute, the social butterfly that I use to be! (and please do not misunderstand: social butterfly is NOT a 'bakery' fly) However, eventhough all the parties have been wonderfully cool and long and crazy and funny, I found out that the time spent indoors, with friends and friends of friends has been well used as much as it is welcome! I call this 'spend quality time with people who really is worth'! <br /> <br />E.g: B-Day at Piola with 'Santa Barbara's gang', happy hour at News with Craus and her respective, all late hours at Bella Paulista bakery with pretty Dri, Ma' and "new" friends, to bake tea cookies with lovely Carol (6 y.o.)... <br /> <br />All this made me question my Londoner life, and in the end of the day, even knowing, and it is very clearly for me, that I am coming back! And by the way, I just can't wait!!!! <br /> <br />... Zero. Nil. <br /> <br />But, as the purpose of this page is to write what is going on here in Brasil... here we go! <br /> <br />Christmas was nice. I am bias to say how good it was, but the food was absolutely delicious!!! (It was me who cooked all the supper!) <br /> <br />For New Year´s celebration we went to Rio de Janeiro. It was the first time for all of us, me, my brother, my mother and my sister. A great weather, a great beach and a great firework spetacle!!! <br /> <br />It was a very quiet holiday for me. No drinks, no parties. And I almost quit smoking. Not this time. But is being less and less every day. The results? I can breath better and I gain few kilos... but is ok! <br /> <br />The big day is gonna be January 13th. On the 14th. I will know for how long I will have to stay here. Hopefully not long, once I miss my londoner life already! <br /> <br />And that´s it! Few things have changed in my city, others are absolutely the same! <br /> <br />Yesterday we had 13ºC and a fine rain that remind me London sooooo badly!!! <br /> <br />Today is the Christmas dinner and I have spent all day in the kitchen! Hope the family like my cooking! <br /> <br />I miss London very, very much and cant wait to come back!
